Why KUSING

Leaders in lengthwise wood cutting

Rip and edging saws have been the core of our production programme from the very start. For thirty years we have built, configured and serviced them for the sawmill industry and joinery workshops alike. From the manual OP-400 ECO to the industrial RS-ES INDUSTRY we cover the whole range with one engineering language: bottom feed on steel rollers, full-width pressure and digital blade positioning.

Straight from the band saw into ripping, with no bottleneck
Case study · sawmill operation

Straight from the band saw into ripping, with no bottleneck

The customer needed to connect the band saw output directly into lengthwise cutting without intermediate storage. We deployed an RP-700 line saw with bottom feed on six rollers and a top pressure roller that holds even twisted cants. The result is a smooth flow of material and a repeatable cut across shifts.

We have run the KUSING saw in single-shift operation for eight years. In that time we have only replaced saw blades and bearings. The cutting accuracy is the same as on day one. Customer site · sawmill industry, Slovakia
